This renovation and expansion created a unified science complex that reflects both the rich history of the college and its place as one of the leading undergraduate science programs in the country. A 40,000-square-foot addition connects the grouping of four buildings that house the sciences and creates a four-story atrium between the existing and new construction. The dramatic architectural shapes and natural light of the atrium make it a destination of choice for the entire campus community. The project renovated 176,000 square feet of teaching and lab spaces.
