Bob Kennedy leads EYP Energy, the firm’s in-house energy consulting and implementation group. He has more than 15 years of experience in developing and managing East Coast operations for performance-contracting groups, including energy audits, design, construction, and financing.

Bob has delivered energy-savings solutions to higher education campuses and healthcare facilities, and successfully competed for participation in utility Demand Side Management program. Over the years, he has been responsible for implementing more than $180 million in energy efficiency upgrades, more than half of which were in the higher education sector and are producing annual energy savings of more than $17 million.

Bob is a sought-after speaker on design alternatives that promote energy conservation, sustainable master planning, and energy audits. He also shares his expertise through webinars and has written numerous articles for publications including American School & University magazine, the Cogeneration and Competitive Power Journal, and Energy 2000.
