Peter Ottavio oversees EYP’s engineering department, including the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and energy disciplines. With more than 40 years of experience, and registration in 17 states, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the design, commissioning, and energy evaluation of educational, industrial, corporate, and state and local government facilities.

Peter has extensive experience designing complex systems for large-scale projects in technology-rich buildings. His expertise and achievements have earned two first-place regional ASHRAE Energy Conservation Awards.

Peter shares his energy conservation expertise by speaking locally and nationally on energy conservation in historic buildings and integrating modern systems into historic structures.
