Leila Kamal is responsible for the growth and development of EYP’s intellectual content and its integration into the firm’s day-to-day project and professional development processes. She supervises experts and senior designers and has led the development of the EYP Way, establishing and formalizing standards and best practices for sharing and developing expertise across the firm.
Leila has more than 20 years of experience in architectural design, programming, and project management. She shares her expertise through workshops and presentations for the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP), Project Kaleidoscope, and Tradeline. She is active in the Boston Society of Architects/AIA’s Women in Design Mentoring, New England Women in Real Estate (NeWire), and the Boston Chamber of Commerce.
Designing for science education is Leila’s greatest passion. She is co-author of ’The Politics and Process of Change: Institutional Building-Planning Team’s for Project Kaleidoscope.
