Christopher Tavener, AIA, LEED AP - EYP Architecture & Engineering

Christopher Tavener has nearly 30 years of experience in managing complex preservation projects, including existing conditions survey, research of historic documents, materials conservation, and materials testing. He is experienced in the evaluation and restoration of masonry structures, including stone, brick, terra cotta, brownstone, and marble, as well as in the restoration of historic interiors.

A member of the Association for Preservation Technology, Christopher shares his expertise nationally and internationally through presentations. His restoration work at City College of New York was featured in Progressive Architecture, Building Renovation, and the New York Times. Prior to joining EYP, he also consulted on the design of a Brazilian construction project funded by the World Bank.
