EYP proudly announces that Leila Kamal, vice president of Design and Expertise, has been elected to the firm's board of directors.

Kamal began her career with EYP in 1997, contributing to the planning, programming, and design of academic, undergraduate science, and student housing facilities for EYP's Higher Education sector. Her fresh perspective, experience with all aspects of the organization, along with her careful consideration of the firm's long-term strategies and commitment to delivering quality and value to EYP clients, make her a valuable addition to the board.

Kamal has more than 19 years' experience in architectural design, programming, and project management. She is the co-author of "The Politics and Process of Change: Institutional Building-Planning Teams" and has presented at Tradeline and Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) conferences, as well last year's National AIA Women's Leadership Summit in Chicago. She is also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Boston Society of Architects, a LEED Accredited Professional, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certified, and licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and Georgia.
