The prestigious task force was recently formed by New York Governor David A. Paterson, and is charged with improving industry-higher education collaborations and analyzing the existing economic strengths and competitive advantages of New York State industry. The task force and advisory council are particularly focused on the areas of energy technology, biotechnology and human health and medicine, agriculture, and nanotechnology.
