EYP Architecture & Engineering recently named Ann Barolak, AIA, as a new Project Executive in the firm's nationally recognized education group. She is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships, forming architectural and engineering teams to meet clients' needs, and providing leadership and support throughout the life of a project. Barolak is based in EYP's New York City office.
Prior to joining EYP, Barolak served as a Principal at Cubellis. In her extensive experience working on college and university projects, she has played key roles in the design and execution of both complicated renovation and new construction projects. An expert in the design of academic libraries, classrooms, and sports and recreation centers, she is credited for the development and implementation of cost effective solutions while creating compelling architectural spaces.
Barolak's previous clients include The State University of New Jersey, Rutgers; Villanova University; The College of New Jersey; Ramapo College of New Jersey; Montclair State University; The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey; Washington College; and New Jersey City University.

A frequent lecturer for organizations such as SCUP and NACUBO, Barolak received a bachelor's degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University, a master of architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master of business administration from Drexel University. She is currently an active member of the American Institute of Architects, SCUP, and NACUBO.
