Senior Fire Protection Engineer Hal Key was recently appointed to three prominent national committees. He will serve as principal on the Technical Committee on Hazardous Chemicals for the National Fire Protection Association. He is also joining the new Sustainability, Energy, & High Performance Code Reform Committee for the International Code Council. In addition, Key will chair the International Existing Building Code Committee for the upcoming 2012/2013 Code Development Cycle, also for the ICC. Key brings 40 years of experience in fire protection and mechanical engineering, as well as extensive expertise in building code writing, fire protection and mechanical system design, and occupancy studies to these significant organizations.
