EYP Principal and Historic Preservation Expert David Fixler, FAIA, authored the article, "Appropriate Means to an Appropriate End: Industry, Modernism, and Preservation," for a recent issue of Bulletin, the official scholarly journal of the Association For Preservation Technology. The article examines many facets - and provides numerous examples of Modern movement architecture. Additionally, Fixler explores the "role of industry and changing attitudes toward material conservation and the nature of authenticity as we take up the challenge of rehabilitating the vast legacy of the Modern movement".
