EYP Architecture & Engineering recently announced the appointment of Damon Leverett, AIA, to lead designer in the firm's Washington, DC office. His responsibilities include facility master planning, programming, and conceptual and schematic design, as well as directing activities of other design professionals involved in EYP projects.

Prior to joining EYP, Leverett worked as design director for the Durrant Group in Phoenix, AZ, and director of the Albert Kahn Digital Studio in Detroit, MI. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Lawrence Technological University College of Architecture and Design since 1990 and has delivered many lectures, including most recently a series on architectural design entitled "Constructive Reversal."
Leverett received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI and is currently working on his master of fine arts in computer arts and new media thesis at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. He is also the recipient of several awards, including the American School Board Journal Learning By Design award in 2000.
