The Saint Joseph College master plan advances the College’s mission and sustainable principles in response to recently identified strategic planning goals. Plan proposals are intended to draw the pleasant character of the campus outward to the edges of the site and to make the totality as appealing as its Olmsted-designed core. Master plan proposals also signify innovation and change, reflecting the sense of opportunity that the College extends to its students. Our planning studies determined the effectiveness of existing space for purposeful reuse, confirming and defining requirements for improved science facilities. A new building for allied sciences is a keystone initiative, to be complemented by sequential renovation and repurposing of the College’s iconic Collegiate Georgian buildings. In context of these major capital projects, continuing site development proposals will celebrate the College’s heritage and Catholic identity.
