The Foundation sought a signature structure for its new tech park collocating industry, government, and academic entities that focus on cancer genomics. EYP designed laboratory spaces whose configurations appeal to a wide range of tenants investigating the molecular mechanisms of cancer. Specialized spaces developed for Taconic, a global leader in transgenic mouse models and related services for biomedical research, include a laser capture microdissection (LCM) facility, transgenics core laboratory, and microarray facility. Significant public space accommodates fundraising, scientific symposia, and industry assemblies to create a research destination. CFG clients include Taconic, Bayer Diagnostics, Eli Lilly and Company, Regeneron Pharmaceutical, and Roche Pharmaceuticals, and Shimadzu Corporation.
